This project was crazy! It all started with a hotel bar. The customer had been on the road and sat down at the hotel bar and just loved the randomized shelving, the lights and how it just had the unique feel. Well we were able to recreate this feel and turn their loft into a unique speakeasy feeling spot. A place for them to hang out together and share memories and a glass or two of bourbon. Sometimes there are just odd spaces in a home, the only proper solution is a custom piece. This simple custom fireplace is made specifically for this space with a custom mantle, custom made stain, and some clean crisp miters to get the TV facing the right direction. A common saying among woodworkers is that there are never enough clamps. Glue ups like this are why that saying exist. This business can be tough, these 3 things are some of the things you you need to get right as soon as possible to ensure the business does what you want it to. A fun hidden door project down on the southwest coast. To think this whole thing started with one request. This list may differ from yours, but we use these all the time! This was quite the piece, a true one of a kind. It’s cool to think that this home will probably be around for a long time and likely this piece will be there as long as that house is standing. A rare, but not unprecedented, out of town work trip for this piece. A hidden door and custom mantle getting installed in beautiful Cape Coral.
